Nature Meets Nurture – Supplemental housing and feeding of birds to enhance your bird habitat experience on Thursday October 23rd 7 pm.
You have native plants in place, now increase activity and resources by providing bird feeders and nest boxes. We’ll discuss about what works best and why, and how to care for these things, the pros and cons, and yes, the best ways to attract hummingbirds!

GOALS
Educate residents on all aspects of environmental protection that improves our quality of life.
Plant native trees and shrubs to reduce the impact of flooding and to offset 10% of the Township’s greenhouse gas emissions.
Transition municipal energy use to 100% clean and renewable energy, and encourage community-wide efforts to reduce energy use and shift to using clean energy consistent with the PA State Climate Action Plan goal of 26% lower by 2025 and 80% lower by 2050.
Protect our Municipal Open Spaces and provide advice and guidance on privately-owned open spaces.
