Adopt-A-Garden

Have you ever wanted your own garden but don't have the space or a business looking for a service project?  Adopt one of our community gardens!   The following gardens are available for adoption:   

• Pollinator Garden at Weisel Preserve

• Rain Garden at Upper Nike Park 

• Native Flower Garden at the Lindy Community Center

• Butterfly Garden at IPW Park 

• Rain Garden at IPW Park

• Pollinator Gardens at the Mary Barness Swim Club Park

• Pollinator Garden at Lower Nike Park (at the Parking Lot) 

• Pollinator Garden in Lower Nike Park (at the bird blind)

Once you adopt a garden, our expectation is that you mulch and weed as necessary.   The Township will provide mulch and will pick up the materials removed from the garden. In return, you or your organization will be recognized annually by the WEAC and a small adoption sign will be placed on the garden.
